Hours & Accessibility

There is no admission fee to visit the farm to pre-tag your tree or during the holiday sales season.

Yes, parking is free. We ask you park in our parking lot (located to the right of our barn). Please do not park in the field across the street from our farm as we do not own that property.

We do our best at Hunt’s Christmas Trees to make it as accessible for everyone as possible. Due to it being a working farm, that has its challenges. The pre-cut trees are handicap accessible. For access to trees in the field please call ahead and we will do our best to accommodate you. We like to remind our guests to please watch for the uneven ground, stumps, holes, etc.

The tagging season begins October 1st. Starting then, during daylight hours you may visit the farm to reserve or “tag” your Christmas tree. The tagging booth is next to the parking lot and has the details posted.

The sales season begins the Saturday before Thanksgiving and will run through December 23rd.

While at the Farm

The fields close every day at 4pm due to timing of the sunsetting. There are no lights in the fields and we want our guests and staff to be as safe as possible.

We have hand saws for you to use while at the farm. You may bring your own hand saw or electric saw to cut down your tree. For safety reasons we do not allow guests to bring gasoline powered tools.

We accept cash, debit cards, credit cards (Mastercard, Visa, Discover), & Apple Pay.

Yes, we do. We can accept various forms of payment in one  transaction.

Absolutely! We love when you bring your four-legged family members! We just ask that pets are leashed, cleaned up after, and not brought into the gift shop.

A portable bathroom is in the parking area.

Trees

We do not sell blue spruce trees. You may view details about the trees we have in the fields.

No. The only trees that are available for tagging and purchase are the ones that have price tags on them.

Trees without price tags are not for sale as they will be available in future years.

There is a $300 fine for cutting down a tree that is not tagged.

Thank you for your understanding.

We usually do sell live potted trees, but due to the drought during the summer, we will not have any for the 2024 season. Thank you for your understanding.

Please contact us for the most up-to-date inventory.

Be sure to ask about the care of your live tree when you purchase it. Live trees should not be indoors for more than 2 weeks.

Real Christmas trees are 100% renewable and recyclable! We offer free tree recycling from Christmas until March 1. The drop off is next to the parking lot, during daylight hours, no appointment needed. We shred, compost, and spread the trees over our new tree fields before planting the seedlings. This is just one great way to give your Christmas tree a purposeful second life!

We do not sell wholesale, sorry.

Tree Care

Absolutely! Our staff are more than happy to help secure your Christmas tree to your vehicle.
